KAYLAS BOUDOIR SESSION | SONORA CA

I have so much love for this lady! She one of the best ( if not the best) hairstylist I know. I had originally met her after an exhausting wed search a couple of years ago when I was on the lookout for a hairstylist who could get my hair where I wanted it in time for my wedding. If I'm being honest I've personally had just awful luck with my local hairstylist so I stalked her Instagram like a mad man. At this point in time, I had been doing my hair myself for years to avoid repeat trauma from subpar stylists, but I wanted my hair to be perfect for the wedding so I decided to give her a try. I was a bit nervous the first time I sat in her chair but all my fears quickly melted away. She was so professional and friendly that I immediately felt like we were old friends plus she did such an amazing job with my hair. So she had been playing with the idea of a boudoir session with me for about a year now but never fully pulled the trigger on it. Then a couple of months back she finally gave me the green light. The self-love and confidence this lady has is so inspiring and I'm so happy I was able to capture it. I even learned something new... Don't tell a hairstylist to play with their hair unless you mean it. lol. I will say this shoot was a bit more difficult because both of us were cracking up the whole time, but it was so much fun and totally worth it!
